Brian Janzer Scholarship Update: The Hartford Youth Football Club proudly sponsors the Brian Janzer Scholarship, a $500 scholarship given to a Hartford High School senior for the college of their choice. This scholarship is in memory of Brian Janzer, a former youth football player who passed away in a tragic accident in 2006 at the age of 18. To qualify for this award, individuals must have played all three years in youth football, and have a 3.0 grade average in high school. The award is presented by the HYFB club president, along with Michael and Joan Janzer, Brian's parents, at the HUHS Summer football meeting in June each year.

James Robbe Award
James Robbe Award Update: The Hartford Youth Football Club also sponsors the James Robbe Award, an award given out annually to an outgoing Senior High school football player who played youth football. and shows enthusiasm, dedication and leadership to his youth and high school football program. This award is given out at the end of the Varsity football season, at the high school awards program. Congratulations to this year's winner, Lincoln Robel.

Congratulations to this year's Brian Janzer scholarship winners, Lincoln Robel and Willis Perley! Club President Tom Carl, Joan Janzer, and Mike Janzer presented Lincoln Robel with a $500 scholarship on June 28, 2012. Willis Perley was unable to attend.

Hartford Youth Football has teamed with Kollege Town Sports to offer its players and families the opportunity to purchase high quality Adidas apparel at reasonable prices. We are offering 4 different opportunities to purchase apparel.
On-Line Ordering Begins on Sunday June 2nd and Ends on Sunday June 23rd.
Player Pack
This is a online order. This package is HIGHLY encouraged for all players to purchase. This 3 item pack is for the 1st week of practice. As most of you are aware the AAYFL mandates that we must practice for the first 10 hours without pads. This package will help all of our players look good and promote our ONE team philosophy. This must be purchased as a package to help keep the cost down. Click HERE for on-line ordering.
Shoe Fundraiser
This option is on that will benefit the players and their families the most. As you sell apparel you earn points towards a pair of ADIDAS football cleats. Print the page, sell apparel, get shoes. You can order the spikes all by themselves or you can order apparel without getting cleats. All orders and checks (payable to: Hartford Youth Football) must be turned in by June 23, 2013.

Key Upcoming Date
August 3, 2013: First day of practice and pay equipment fee. Start time is 8:00AM.
August 20, 2013: Picture day, all players will meet at Gib Mahr field at regular practice time. Coaches will have more information.
