Spring & Summer Camps

FOOTBALL 101 Camps Are Back!           
A series of position specific camps over the summer to  prepare for the upcoming season. All camps are designed for athletes entering 4th - 9th grade / no prior experience is necessary.
All camps are under the direct supervision of Head Coach Tom Noennig.

Camps are scheduled during the day to not interfere with evening baseball, basketball or other sports

Camp 1:    The Passing Game - Offense & Defense            June  11-13    12-2pm    $35
This camp is designed for Quarterbacks, Receivers and Defensive Backs.  (tight ends)
Fundamental instruction will be given to each position group.  Campers will be expected to work as both receivers and defensive backs.  Quarterbacks can work other positions but they will focus most of their attention on throwing mechanics.
QB's will have a video analysis during camp.  They will work on the R4 pass system as well as quick game and sprint out.  *Receivers will learn the Hartford Oriole passing tree, and Defensive Backs will learn ball skills and man technique.
The camp will focus on Cover 1 man techniques, but will have chalk talk on coverage analysis (Cover 1, Cover 2, and Cover 3)

Camp 2:    The Run Game - Offense and Defense            June 11-13     2-4pm        $35
This camp is designed for Quarterbacks, Running Backs and Linebackers
QB's will learn footwork and reads for the run game.  As well as play action pass technique.
Each camper will learn running back and linebacker (inside and outside) fundamental skills and techniques.
Running Backs will learn the footwork and concepts used by the Hartford Oriole football program.  They will also receive instruction on pass catching drills out of the backfield.
Linebackers will learn fundamental skills (run and pass) for the position.  Linebackers will have sessions on backfield and formation recognition as well as keys and reads.

Camp 3:    Big Man Camp - O Line and D Line (tight ends)    June 25-27   12- 2pm        $25
The game is won and lost in the trenches and the focus on this camp is to teach the proper techniques used to be successful. 
O Line will learn footwork and proper run and pass blocking techniques.
D Line will learn footwork and hand technique to win the battle.  D Line will learn techniques to shock and shed blocks and techniques used to rush the passer.

Camp 4:    Specialty Camp     (no experience necessary)        June 25-27     2-4pm        $20
Placekickers / Punters / Long Snappers / Holders and Returners
Special Teams are SPECIAL and are 1/3 of the game.  Techniques will be taught to be successful and improve in the special teams game.
Punters and Placekickers will receive video analysis to improve their technique.
Great camp to learn how to punt / kick or snap!

Camp 5:    TEAM CAMP  (Entering Grades 5-8)        July 16-18     9am -noon        $20
Campers will choose an offensive and defensive position.
The drill progressions for each position will be taught.
The Pistol Spread Option and the 4-2-5 Defense will be installed
skill contests will be held in the team camp
Battleball Tournament will be held during the 3 day camp

Camps are tentatively scheduled to be held at HUHS practice fields

One of the best kicking camps in the country offers training camps right here in southeastern Wisconsin. Kohl's Kicking, Punting & Long-Snapping camp is a great camp for youth players as well as high school players. If your son is interested in being a kicking specialist, it's never too early to take a training camp and learn the proper techniques right from the beginning. Green Bay Packers Youth Football Camp
Another great camp for just enjoyment of the game itself is the Green Bay Packers Youth Football Camp for an all-around football experience. Check them out as well. They are now promoting 2012 camps.
